Quarterly Analysis and Review
The Quarterly Analysis and
Review service level is similar to the corresponding Monthly Accounting Services level except, of course, it is provided only
quarterly. Quarterly is the
minimum frequency that JWTCO services should be provided. For our smaller clients this is the
frequency with which payroll taxes must be reconciled and reported and, for our
larger clients this is the frequency of the SEC 10Q reporting
requirements. JWTCO prepares the
payroll taxes for most of our clients and GAAP
quarterly financial statements and workpapers for auditor review for our SEC
reporting clients.
Our familiarity with SEC
reporting requirements and our relationship with AICPA SEC reporting section
auditors enables us to facilitate the registration of our emerging growth
clients, helping them maintain compliant accounting records on a timely
basis. This assures timely SEC
reporting and avoids last minute filing extensions and missed deadlines. Even more importantly, in the wake of
the more recent investor confidence crisis and auditor independence issues,
JWTCO involvement helps our client auditors maintain a desirable and
comfortable level of independence.
Often, if the business is not
especially fast-growing, the quarterly service level is the level at which the
JWTCO/client relationship stabilizes.
Most quarterly review clients start at a monthly service level,
continuing at that level until internal staff skills and reporting procedures
developed at the monthly service level can be reconciled to provide reliable monitoring
of the critical metrics.
Conversion from the monthly to quarterly service level is usually
progressive, assuring JWTCO maintains a familiarity with the clients operations
and ambitions and can stay available for the many other periodic services we
can offer.
